I did a bit of research before deciding on this pack. I think this company Stikage recently started selling on Amazon, but they have been manufacturing backpacks for the last 30+ years. It shows in their build quality. Apart from the fact that this 80L pack has got all the bells and whistles of a good quality pack, I am amazed how light it feels for the size
The build feels tough. I checked the stitching and straps after the trip, and nothing looked stretched out or worn, even after being fully loaded most of the time.
The large front pocket came in handy for things I didn’t want inside the main bag, like wet layers and sandals around camp.
I like the two-compartment setup on a pack this size. I kept my sleeping bag and extra clothes in the bottom section, and used the main area for food, tent gear, and cooking stuff.

The extra-long compression straps are really useful. When the pack was full, I used them to hold my sleeping pad. Later in the trip, they helped tighten everything down as the load got smaller.
The side storage is one of the better parts of this bag. The deep pockets and zip pockets gave me places to keep bottles, poles, and smaller gear without cramming everything into the main compartment.
