The Omega Link Cams are possibly the most unique camming units available today. With each cam lob trisected into three parts so that they can contract far beyond the normal range of any other type of cam. It is no exaggeration to say that one Link Cam has a range greater than two normal cams, offering a great advantage if you aren’t sure what size protection a pitch may require. They are useful for easy alpine routes where you want to carry less gear, but still want to protect the maximum amount of sizes.
